On Thursday, 12 September 2013, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Panevėžys, on Tulpių street near No. 4, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Xantia and a Ford Orion. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
