On Tuesday, 17 September 2013, in the morning at 7:30, in Rokiškio district municipality, Pagrandžių village, on the Biržai–Pandėlys–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 66.46), on a bridge, a BMW 316 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
