On Thursday, 26 September 2013, in the evening at 17:41, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., at the junction with Gedimino street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 735, an Audi A4 Avant and a Mitsubishi Outlander. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
