On Sunday, 29 September 2013, in the evening at 18:25, in Mažeikių district municipality, Žemalės village, on Miško street near No. 2, an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.78‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
