On Tuesday, 8 October 2013, in the morning at 9:43, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Vėžaičiai–Mikoliškiai–Kartena regional road (kilometre 10), a Case IH MX 180 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Case (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.77‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
