On Tuesday, 8 October 2013, in the evening at 22:10, in Kaunas, on Neries krantinė street, at the junction with Kuršėnų street, a Ford Focus hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 28-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Ford (3 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
