On Friday, 18 October 2013, at night at 23:50, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 76, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 318, a Nissan Almera and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
