On Saturday, 19 October 2013, in the afternoon at 13:45, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Anykščiai–Troškūnai–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 15.20), a Ford Escort rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.41‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
