On Friday, 18 October 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Vilnius, on J. Kubiliaus street near No. 18, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and a Jaguar X-Type. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
