On Sunday, 20 October 2013, at night at 1:40, in Kaunas, on Studentų street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 524 and a Nissan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the BMW (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.47‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
