On Sunday, 20 October 2013, in the morning at 6:30, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 140), a Volvo FH12.460 registered in Russia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volvo (a citizen of Belarus) (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
