On Monday, 21 October 2013, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Varėnos district municipality, on the Babriškės–Varėna–Eišiškės national road (kilometre 17.86), a Chrysler Voyager ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Chrysler (23 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
