On Wednesday, 23 October 2013, in the evening at 19:15, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 9.30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk.
