On Saturday, 26 October 2013, in the morning at around 10:00, in Rietavo municipality, Žeberių village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 4.50), a Fiat registered in Latvia rolled over. Two people were injured — a 16-year-old passenger of the Fiat (treated as an outpatient) and a 15-year-old passenger of the Fiat (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Fiat (2 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.11‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
