On Tuesday, 29 October 2013, in the evening at 21:30, in Kaunas, on Baltijos street near No. 45, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 Avant, a Peugeot 206 and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 63-year-old driver of the Audi 100 Avant (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
