On Saturday, 2 November 2013, in the evening at 19:48, in Panevėžio district municipality, Šilagalio village, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 130), a Renault Megane Scenic hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who was crossing the carriageway outside a crossing where there are vehicle or pedestrian barriers.
