On Sunday, 3 November 2013, in the evening at 17:50, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 85, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mini Cooper D, an Avento 395 and a Renault Megane Scenic. Two people were injured — the 45-year-old driver of the Avento (treated as an outpatient) and a 24-year-old passenger of the Mini (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
