On Sunday, 3 November 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 89), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Renault (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
