On Saturday, 9 November 2013, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kauno district municipality, on Pažėrų street near No. 1, a Ford Galaxy hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.11‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
