On Wednesday, 13 November 2013, in the evening at 21:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Kruonio town, on the Kruonis–Anglininkai–Apsuona regional road, an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.12‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
