On Wednesday, 13 November 2013, in the evening at 17:15, in Pagėgių municipality, Šakininkų village, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 183.48), a Keeway hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 67-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the Keeway, who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
