On Thursday, 14 November 2013, in the morning at 9:01, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Prienai–Alytus national road (kilometre 21.61), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Skoda Superb and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Skoda (13 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene.
