On Friday, 15 November 2013, in the evening at 20:59, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Aleksandrija–Ginkūnai national road (kilometre 1.70), a Mercedes-Benz E220 registered in Germany rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
