On Saturday, 16 November 2013, in the morning at 9:30, in Biržų district municipality, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 0.50), an Opel Vectra ran off the road. One person was injured — a 13-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
