On Sunday, 17 November 2013, in the evening at 20:54, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Tetervinai–Kiemėnai regional road (kilometre 7.24), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a horse-drawn cart and an Opel Vectra. Two people were injured — a 4-year-old passenger of a horse-drawn cart (hospitalized) and a 12-year-old passenger of a horse-drawn cart (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 28-year-old cart driver, who committed cart driving at night or in poor visibility without reflectors on the cart or sleigh. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
