On Monday, 25 November 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on H. ir O. Minkovskių street near No. 98, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Scania R500 and a Volvo FH 42T. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Scania (7 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
