On Monday, 2 December 2013, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr. near No. 91, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo XC70, a Mercedes-Benz E290 and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Volvo (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
