On Tuesday, 3 December 2013, in the afternoon at 16:10, in Joniškio district municipality, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 14.52), a Volkswagen Passat hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing.
