On Thursday, 5 December 2013, in the evening at around 21:00, in Prienų district municipality, Skriaudžių village, on Patašinės street, a Peugeot 406 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Peugeot (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.61‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
