On Sunday, 1 December 2013, at night at 1:10, in Kaunas, on Žemaičių pl. near No. 11, at the junction with Žaibo street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volvo 850 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volvo (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.76‰ blood alcohol).
