On Saturday, 7 December 2013, at night at 0:13, in Panevėžio city municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 131.50), an Opel Astra registered in Latvia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Opel (a citizen of Latvia) (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed.
