On Monday, 9 December 2013, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Prienų district municipality, Jogalinos village, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 63.90), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a MTZ Belarus-52, a Renault Megane Scenic and a horse-drawn cart. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the MTZ (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
