On Friday, 13 December 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr., an Opel Ascona hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 29-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Opel (18 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
