On Sunday, 15 December 2013, at night at 0:41, in Telšių district municipality, on the Luokė–Janapolė regional road (kilometre 2.75), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Audi 80, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.10‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered.
