On Friday, 13 December 2013, at night at around 23:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Pajūralio village, on Upynės street, at the junction with Lubarto street, a car hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
