On Monday, 9 December 2013, at night at around 3:00, in Kaunas, on 9-ojo Forto street, at the junction with Mosėdžio street, a Mazda 6 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Mazda (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
