On Friday, 20 December 2013, in the afternoon at 14:17, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Varėna–Gardinas main road (kilometre 34), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot Partner and a Volkswagen Jetta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Peugeot (a citizen of Poland) (13 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
