On Thursday, 26 December 2013, in the morning at around 9:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Nemuno street near No. 31, a Toyota Camry Solara hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Toyota (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
