On Friday, 27 December 2013, in the evening at 18:44, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 186), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a KIA Motors Sorento. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
