On Sunday, 29 December 2013, in the evening at 20:20, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Privažiuojamasis kelias prie Ruzgų regional road (kilometre 0.73), a Peugeot 406 ran off the road. One person was injured — a 27-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed.
