On Tuesday, 31 December 2013, at night at 23:40, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Palomenės village, on Lomenos street near No. 31, a Ford Escort rolled over. One person was injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Ford (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.60‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
