On Monday, 6 January 2014, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Šiauliai, on Tilžės street, at the junction with Aukštoji street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
