On Friday, 10 January 2014, in the evening at 18:11, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 47, at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Mazda 3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
