On Friday, 7 February 2014, in the morning at around 10:00, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Pasvalys–Vabalninkas regional road (kilometre 14.60), a Renault Megane Scenic ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Renault (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.25‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
