On Tuesday, 18 February 2014, in the evening at 18:17, in Vilnius, on Švitrigailos street near No. 46A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 605, a Renault Laguna and a Nissan Primera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Peugeot (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
