On Wednesday, 19 February 2014, in the evening at 19:30, in Kauno district municipality, on the Šėta–Okainiai–Truskava regional road (kilometre 6), a Volkswagen Golf rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (0.66‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
