On Sunday, 23 February 2014, in the morning at around 6:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 76.90), a Mercedes-Benz 2541 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was fog, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
