On Thursday, 27 February 2014, in the afternoon at 14:40, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Gegužinės village, on the Jonava–Žasliai–Kalniniai Mijaugonys national road (kilometre 12.75), a Honda Civic rolled over. Two people were injured — the 24-year-old driver of the Honda (hospitalized) and a 26-year-old passenger of the Honda (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Honda (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
