On Friday, 7 March 2014, in the evening at 17:25, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 43, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Sharan and a Honda Civic. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (12 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
