On Saturday, 15 March 2014, in the evening at 17:30, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Radiškis–Anykščiai–Rokiškis national road (kilometre 16), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Vento and a Mazda 323. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who violated overtaking rules. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
